Congrats to all the BBFT Anglers « Result #4 on Nov 18, 2008, 12:56pm »
Let us not forget the 2nd-end places for the 2008 point standings!!!
Our father and founder Dan Gleason made a strong showing by making only HALF of the tournaments and still placing 2nd with not to many seperating the top spots.
2008 was a tough year for everyone involved with many of us coming up fishless!!! Lets hope 09 is a better year for all and that we get more participation from everyone!!
IN MY BOOK WE ARE ALL WINNERS!!!
hope to see a vast majority turn out come back in 09!!!

way to go Brad.
If this would have been a team turnamnet, Kat and I would have had about a 9lb sack. We both started culling about 8:30 am.. We both really like Sandlin a lot..

Thanks guys for another fun tournament. I had a great time. That was only the second time I had been out there in the last two months and the time before was a dink fest.
It's just slowing way down and looking for that one good bite that counts in this one.
Turkey (bowling) From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The term turkey is used in the sport of Bowling when a player makes three strikes in a row. The origin dates back to before the turn of the 20th century. During Thanksgiving or Christmas week, the proprietor would present a live turkey to people who scored three consecutive strikes[1]. The term has carried over ever since.
